Well, apparently I goofed when selecting my vehicle. I put that I had a CD player when I did not. I will go back to see what my choices were on the website when I have a moment to do so. So, what that led to was a LIMIT of the visible items that I could buy for my vehicle. I knew that I DID NOT need a $100 wire harness, but because Crutchfield deemed me limited (or stupid) I was not able to see the cheaper wire harness. I contacted customer support and their answer was that the $100 harness was the cheapest option. Everything arrived well before a planned trip where I expected to have my new equipment installed by. Put it all in with ease. But the head unit will not power up. Went on my trip with a Dewalt radio playing in my truck. Called support again when I got back and spoke to Kali who was spectacular. I made it clear that this was a power up issue, two wires, black and red. I complained about the cost of the ridiculous wire harness and she asked all the right questions leading us to realize that I had selected the wrong radio in my vehicle. So I am now paying $13 to return the wire harness and I bought a new one from Amazon. I have been a Crutchfield customer for about 40+ years and this is the first time that I have been disappointed. Don't limit the choices that I have. I will take responsibility for selecting the wrong radio, however had I had the choice to buy the correct harness, I would have. But Crutchfield limited my choices based on my previous error.
