I purchased the Audio-Technica AT-LP3XBT to replace an old turntable that had developed a background rumble. Crutchfield recommended that I purchase the Audio-Technica AT-LP3XBT and I an extremely happy with the choice. It sounds wonderful! I am using a receiver with preamp so I do not need to use preamp in the turntable. The new turntable sounds brighter than I am used to, maybe a little too bright, but I am still pleased with the quality of the turntable and cartridge. My only disappointment is the bluetooth, which I only play on using occasionally. First, it only works if you chose the line setting, rather than phono setting, because BT requires the built in preamp. Therefore, to use BT, not only do you have to switch from phono to line on the back of the turntable, but you must unplug the RCA cables from the phono input on the receiver ir you would overload the receiver preamp, Second there is no way to turn off the BT on the turntable. Therefore, once you connect the BT to BT headphones ir soearkers, it reconnects every time you turn on the turntable, even when the output is set to phono. This makes no sense since the BT output using the phono setting hasn’t gone through the preamp and can’t be heard ob BR devices. For me this is a minor complaint since I don’t plan on using the BT frequently, but because it is so difficult to use in phono setting I probably won’t use it at all
