Site Experience FeedbackJul 14, 2025
The checkout process was horrible. On mobile, I tried Amazon Pay, when I clicked to verify address it gave an error. Then I tried Paypal, and after going through the steps it showed a white screen. So I tried to jump on a desktop, and when you click Amazon Pay it says this site is not accepting payments through Amazon Pay, so then I tried Paypal several times, and after finishing up with Paypal, it goes back to the CompSource site and says "Cart is empty". Then I tried the traditional credit card method, and the address line for billing address bugs out after the first number is typed into the Address line, and it turns grey, so you cant properly fill out the address. So I copied and pasted the address into the box to get that to work. I had a different shipping address, but for some reason the company line for that part is shorter than the company line for billing address so I had to truncate it. After finishing that page and creating the account, it said the cart was empty and it didnt say any account was created. Then I tried to create an account under that email, and it said an account already exists. So I tried to log in to the account, and it said my credentials were incorrect. So I manually reset my password to the same password again, very carefully, and it still didn't work or let me log in.
So, apart from any checkout process, I just made an account under a different email, and that worked. I then added my credit card details to the account to simplify checkout.
I then logged in, put my items into my card, and proceeded through the checkout. I hit next because my addresses were already entered, but when I got to the payment page, it did not list the credit card I had added to my account, so I had to re-enter my credit card details. The entire process was a total nightmare and the only reason I stuck with it is because I liked the warranty terms and ChatGPT said your company had been around since 1991, so I figured I would give you guys a shot. If the price and warranty options were the same for this product elsewhere I would have ran for the hills. The entire checkout process needs a recode.
