I was excited to buy a matching set of Made in USA duel fuel lantern and stove. The shipment arrived in a timely manner, but I can’t assemble the lantern. It seems like I received the wrong ventilator assembly for my lantern.
I contacted customer service and I got a response asking for an order number but I haven’t heard any updates in days. I asked for an update or if I should try to operate the lantern with the provided ventilator balanced on top of the globe and they still haven’t answered.
So instead of sending me a working premium product, it seems like I received a box of mismatched lantern parts instead. I will probably never order from Coleman again and I’m thinking about disputing the credit card charge because I paid for a working lantern but didn’t receive a working lantern. Can’t they just send me a new ventilator assembly, or send me a new lantern and a return label and I ship what they sent me back to them in 30 days or they charge me for the second one? That would be the classy thing to do.
I’m not sure what to do at this point, but this not what I expected when ordering a Made in USA lantern directly from Coleman.
