Checkout was smooth and simple. That was positive. However, I'm disappointed to find ALL replacement tent poles are out of stock. That seems absurd. I find the replacement kit a fair alternative IF I can successfully use it. For one, the kit is for 9.5mm poles, but by my best visual estimate, my poles are 9mm even. Why is Coleman even expecting me to measure the diamete of a cylinder to 1/2 of 1 millimeter? I have the part number! Why can't you tell me what size that pole is? That seems absurd! I'm skeptical this kit will even work for me; the instructions were not shared among images of the item, so I don't know prior to purchasing it what I'm even required to do with it. I may not have the tools or the capability to use it. That does NOT make me feel good about the purchase, but there are no alternatives. I contacted customer care with the part number, and was given links to 3 alternative, third party websites, but none of the links worked! All resulted in the message "Cannot find this page" from my browser. I'm confident that's not an error on my end. Overall, I'm disapointed with this process. I didn't imagine Coleman would be incapable of providing a replacement or repair kit with any level of certainty that it was the appropriate replacment or repair part. What happened to Coleman? Your brand has always been the gold standard for camping equipment, to me and everyone I know. This does not meet that standard!
