Post-Delivery FeedbackAug 25, 2026
I purposely saved my points and allowed them to accumulate because I believed that the more points I earned, the more substantial the reward or free product I would eventually be able to choose. Unfortunately, I found the website very unclear about how the points program actually works. I spent several days trying to find information about which products were available for redemption and how I could use my points. Eventually, out of frustration, I called Customer Service and learned that I could redeem only one reward at a time, that it had to be selected from a limited group of products chosen by Clinique, that the item had to be in stock, and that I also had to make a purchase in order to receive it. As a Clinique customer for more than 30 years, I was very disappointed that these restrictions were not clearly explained.
Redeeming my anniversary gift was also unnecessarily difficult, as the representative I dealt with had never heard of the anniversary gift. My birthday gift experience was equally disappointing because there was no choice offered; I had to receive a moisturizer that I do not use and that is already included in many Clinique promotional offers. Overall, what I had expected to be an exciting and rewarding shopping experience became frustrating, cost me additional money, and left me with very little opportunity to choose products that I actually wanted or needed. I believe loyal customers would have a much better experience if the rewards program were explained more clearly and offered greater flexibility and choice.
