This was my first online purchase, I wanted to include the train case cosmetic case which would've been $28 due to value of my purchase. Online system would not allow that - was charging me $68. I chatted with rep through the chat portal, Maeghan, and her response was it's a tech issue that is being worked on and to check back later. I'm a loyal Clinique user and have always shopped at the Clinique counter where the customer service was excellent! My expectation was rep could've put a note on my account or something in order to make the tech issue that is being experienced not impact my order. Everything was in my cart ready to go, so I wasn't going to continue to check back in the event the tech issue got sorted out. It was a disappointing experience for a first time online user. In the end, I ordered the product I needed and won't be able to get the train case now.
