The website is really hard to navigate, especially regarding the rewards section. It always shows me a 'sign in' button and gives me prompts to register for the rewards program, even when I'm already signed in. Going to my account section also gives me the option to delete my rewards account, so it's clearly disconnected somewhere.
I have not been able to redeem several advertised rewards, including one I was getting today where you could count your points double when redeeming rewards. I contacted the chat and was disconnected from the person after waiting 10 minutes for help. I had a very similar experience 6 months ago when I tried to redeem my birthday gift, and was never able to redeem it.
Both times I ended up just buying something, but now that all my points are going to expire in November, I might go look elsewhere. It's nice that I usually get a free gift with purchase, and I like Clinique products, but it's stressful to the point that I avoid going on the website until the last possible moment when I'm completely out of something.
Just don't offer rewards if I'm never going to be able to redeem them!! It's really misleading!!
