I called yesterday to try to place an order online with a representative and wanted to discuss some changes that I wanted to try. The representative that I spoke with on May 24 was not very informed about the products nor any information. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was advised that there are no supervisors available. I asked to please have a supervisor call me back. She took the information. This was yesterday and I never received a return phone call. I received an email stating that there was a gift with purchase and also you could purchase a train case for $25 if you had over $75 to purchase. I ask about this. She was very unfamiliar. Kept putting me on hold and then come back to the phone. Tell me her computer wasn’t working and then I get placed on hold again. I hung up the phone so I tried again today to get a representative so that I could get the gift with purchase and purchase the train case this was this morning at 10:30 my time and I was advised that I could either hold for an hour to wait for a supervisor or they would have them call me back. I just find it ridiculous that somebody would ask me if I wanna hold for an hour after all the time I spent yesterday trying to speak with 1 and never got to speak with a supervisor. So when I called back this afternoon, I directly wanted to speak with the supervisor and advised that nobody was available to talk to me, and I was advised that somebody tried calling me back and my phone was busy. That was very inaccurate. There were no incoming phone calls from Clinique. Then I got put on hold again today and instead of staying on hold I hung up. I purchased some items online because I wanted to take advantage of a couple of things and I needed some things. I am very disappointed in the customer service that is provided by Clinique. I have worn Clinique since I was 17 years old and I am now 74 years old, so I am not a new customer to Clinique or their products. My phone conversations with the representatives that helped me were not knowledgeable at all about what the promotions were or the product.
