I made two separate orders online as I have done previously. However, this time both orders arrived with boxes completely distorted and opened. The items in the individual package bag also opened. I noticed the outer layers of the boxes had no tape to secure the items inside. I was shocked to see all the packaging plastic bags all opened. This was scary to think that the products might have been tainted.
Immediately when I received the first order, I contacted Clinique customer service online regarding this mishaps and asked to return the items. I showed photos of the opened damaged boxes and bags. The associate submitted a replacement. But when my second order arrived and still looked distorted, I realized this must have to do with the packing/shipping department. They should be responsible for taping and securing the shipments. By this round 2 of disappointment, I decided there was no point to call in about my tainted second order. I was disappointed. This never happened in the past. Fortunately the replacement order for my first reported order arrived all sealed with the box taped and everything arrived in great shape. This confirm again my suspicion for the neglect and poor performance of the packing shipping department.
I do like Clinique products but from now on I will only buy products directly from the store - not online again. Please for your own business sake, remind your packing shipping department to do their job well
