Disappointed in Naples
Post-Delivery FeedbackJun 25, 2026
We just completed a big family room remodel project and I was excited to order some new furniture to complete the project. I found the perfect chairs and loveseat and immediately ordered them. I was impressed and excited to find out delivery could be made in only 3 days! The day of delivery I had returned to work after a week off during the remodel and my disabled husband was home waiting for the delivery. I tracked it all day and kept him informed. Late in the afternoon the furniture was finally delivered, but only one of two matching recliners. My husband fought with the delivery person about signing his acceptance of the furniture when one piece was missing. The delivery person called someone who talked to my husband, and he asked them to call me. I then got a call apologizing for the missing recliner. She told me she would call in the morning with the next delivery date. So we kept the delivery and waited until the next day. Ultimately, the next day I got a call telling me the chair had been discontinued and was no longer available! She tried to give me store credit, but I insisted on a refund, which she told me could take up to 14 days to process. Now I have a recliner that I cannot get a match to, and I am back in the hunt for replacements. And I will more than likely be returning the chair I do have so I can get 2 matching chairs and not a hodge podge of furniture ! If I had just received a call initially letting me know that two of the recliners I picked out were not available all of this anguish could’ve been avoided. It’s ridiculous that the delivery guy or warehouse person decided it was ok to just give me half my order without any discussion or communication. I am frustrated and angry and won’t waste my time with City Furniture ever again.
