My small mare had the Rugged Ride soft mesh fly sheet, item#SF1280-GRGR-075, on for 1 hour and the cord, under the with protection fleece, totally unraveled. It is obviously a manufacturer defect as the sheet still looks new. She didn't ha e time to roll in it. Anyway, I sent pics via email, left a voice mail message, and Pat returned Ed my call first thing Monday 7-28-25. Pat was so kind and seemed genuinely understanding. Her phone etiquette was impeccable and I truly felt she wasn't judging me. She left a very detailed message of what steps to follow. I am currently waiting on service@chicksaddlery.com to reply and tell me how to handle the return. I the reason I gave a low rating is because of the back ordered items, the sheet ripping at a key area in the design, and the time it took to ship it with the high shipping rate. Usually an order over 50 or 100 dollars would have free shipping via UPS or FedEx. Shipping thru the postal service is very slow and untimely. Also the price for shipping was high for light weight items. But, the price points if the ordered items were really good. Usually I am a Schneiders customer I also use Smartpack. Depending on how Service tells me to handle the situation, that will determine if I return to Chicks Saddlery again. Thank you so much for your attention and understanding in this situation. I truly appreciate the opportunity to voice my concerns. And, thanks to Pat at customer service. She truly redeemed your company. I was angry before I got her message. Most Sincerely, Jody M.
