Camping World had the exact item I wanted & it was available to ship & arrive in a timely manner. I received the item but it was damaged. Online chatting & phone conversations about retuning the damaged item & ordering a replacement item with customer support seemed to go ok at first but as time passed without the promised contact. It was frustrating to not hear back from customer support...I always had to reach out to them. They had notes about my previous contacts but still seemed to not know what exactly was going on with picking up the damaged item & getting a new one shipped out. One excuse was that my email address wasn't valid, which isn't so as I did receive emails from the representatives when I asked specifically that they send me emails to confirm my email address. Frustrating!! Then I get an email in my junk folder from a company called redwood logistics that my antivirus program labeled as possibly malicious, so I was hesitate to transfer it to my inbox so I could open the attachment. The only clue that it might be legitimate were the letters BOL in the pdf attachment, which turned out to be bill of lading, which is what I needed to be able to return the damaged item. It turned out the shipping company R+L Carriers, had more information about the pick up of the damaged item & arrival of the replacement item than Camping World customer support did...whew...what an ordeal as I really felt I was getting the runaround from CW customer support...they were polite & apologetic but seemed clueless at times. The replacement item seems undamaged outwardly so I'm hoping it works correctly once it's installed.
