I have been looking for a new toilet and valves for my trailer. Family and friends recommended camping world. Placing the order was easy, and I was excited. After about a week they sent me the wrong order, told me I had to bring the wrong order to the store or I would not be receiving my actual order. They said they received two orders with the same first name and sent me the other person's order. Half of my order they received in store and the customer service representative who called said I cannot pick up my order or receive any of my items until I bring in the wrong order they sent me. When I did not bring the order in that next day due to me working full-time and having a family they called me and said their manager is very upset and I need to bring in the order as soon as possible. I told them I would try and bring it in later in the week when I know I have a day off given it's a 40-minute drive with small children. When I got to the store they gave me the valves I had ordered after I returned the wrong order they sent me. When I asked about the second half of my order they had to get a manager because they argued and told me I never ordered the toilet. Was able to find my receipt online and the manager was able to look it up and inform me that would be shipping directly to my house. She told me cuz doordash was the delivery service used on the camping world website that that is why I had to bring the messed up order into the store instead of shipping it back to them. The customer service representative made me feel like it was my fault, and then for them to essentially hold my order hostage with a contingent of me bringing the wrong order back to them. Was ridiculous. Working in customer service for over 10 years I would be very disappointed in the way this was handled. I will not be ordering from this company again unless I absolutely have no other options.
