Purchased a product on-line for local in-store pickup. I called the store on the pickup day and was told the online price and product description were incorrect (misrepresented). After a long conversation with the store manager, I was essentially left with a “sorry, but too bad” response and no product. I was promised a follow-up with corporate and a response, but guess what after a week? Nothing. Crickets. And, my pending purchase was quickly canceled by management. I can get an honest mistake and truly do not believe it was a bait-and-switch tactic, but management’s response was abysmal - start to finish. Goodwill is the most crucial intangible in any business, and Camping World/Gander has squandered any they may have had with me. After purchasing a new expensive 5th-wheel and spending thousands at many locations over the years, I’m done. Period. Camping World doesn’t care about or need my business anyway, so I’m sure my observations and concerns are DOA.
