Great value in both the product and price. The earrings were beautiful, and Brilliant Earth’s reputation gave me enough confidence to make a purchase online without first seeing the item in person.
Unfortunately, the in-store pickup experience did not reflect that same level of quality. As a first-time customer, I did not feel particularly welcomed, and during my roughly 10-minute wait there was little effort made to create a hospitable or engaging experience. The associate who assisted with my pickup completed the transaction, but the interaction felt very transactional and impersonal.
I am not expecting a red-carpet experience for an online pickup order. However, I do believe every customer should feel valued, regardless of whether they are picking up a $1,000 purchase or spending $10,000+ on jewelry. My impression was that smaller or younger buyers may not receive the same level of attention or warmth, which is disappointing for those who are choosing your brand for an important milestone or special occasion.
The product exceeded my expectations, but the customer service experience left me feeling less appreciated as a customer than I had hoped
