When several plants I purchased from Breck’s in 2025 arrived dead or failed to grow, I contacted customer service. They responded promptly and issued a refund, which I appreciated.
I’ve been purchasing from Breck’s for several years, and unfortunately I’ve noticed the quality of some plants seems to have declined compared to my earlier experiences. Because of that, I would encourage customers to be aware of the company’s guarantee policy in case plants do not survive or perform as expected.
While I’ve been disappointed with the condition of some recent orders, I do want to acknowledge that Breck’s has honoured its refund/replacement policy when issues occurred.
I do plan to continue purchasing from Breck’s, but I’ll be more careful in selecting varieties that seem better suited to extended shipping and storage conditions. I'm guessing this may be the reason the plants I ordered didn't survive.
