DisappointedRUS

I was extremely disappointed with my large first time purchase after receiving a very difficult process to receive credit, so I was very eager to start purchasing. I bought many items of clothing. Absolutely none of it fit. In fact, all of the articles of clothing weren’t even close to my size. I have clothes from many different stores in my size and never had this problem from any of the other stores I buy clothing from. Each article of clothing wasn’t just a little off, all items were at least 2 sizes too small. One item I could barely get on and off. When I called to complain, I was told about the size chart etc etc. Who goes and measures themselves when buying clothing?? Again, I have never had an issue with size from any other store. All articles of clothing that I bought from Boscov’s were not only to short, but were very tight all over, but the arm length was longer on every item. I looked like a popped muffin tin. I am disabled…This is why I mostly do my clothes shopping online, so having to take every single item I bought back to my nearest Boscov’s store isn’t just discouraging, it is difficult for me. The customer service lady I spoke with, although nice, kept telling me that Boscov’s has many different brands of clothing and I should have measured myself first before ordering. Again, I have never even had to do that with any other stores, so why would I have even thought to do that for Boscov’s? It explained to her that it wasn’t just one or two items, but every single item I bought. Even the underwear, when I held it up to my own underwear, they were much smaller than my own. I didn’t bother to even try them on, or the sports bra’s. Same issue with them as well. Bathing suit, same thing…I just bought another swimsuit off Amazon in my size and it fit true to my size. The lady I spoke to insisted that it was MY responsibility to measure myself before purchasing, like the blame is on me, not on Boscov’s. Whoever you purchase clothes from, all those companies sell clothing that doesn’t fit true to the size that is on the tag. I have looked online to see if anyone else has experienced this problem and many people say the exact same thing. I am highly disappointed in the whole experience that I’ve had with Boscov’s. From the process to receive credit and how difficult and long process that was, to the products, to even the use of the USPS for delivery. I explained to Boscov’s that I live in a park and the mail and purchase box drop are to far for me to walk to and that the USPS refuses to deliver to my front door, so I needed my purchases to be delivered by anyone OTHER than the USPS. That was taken down as a note when I said it, but the USPS delivered both packages to the mailboxes anyway. One item came first; one…The rest of my order came in another shipment, also to the mailboxes, not my front door because the USPS was used after specifically telling Boscov’s that they refuse to deliver packages to my door. So my whole experience with Boscov’s was extremely frustrating and disappointing. Maybe in the future you will buy products that are true to their actual size.
