My great aunt, rest her soul, loved Boscovs.
She bought so much stuff from the store in Vineland that they actually gave her a plaque. Every year we'd get a Christmas sweat and socks from your stores. She died at 95, probably with a balance on her Boscov's credit card!
Most of the stores around here seem to have been opened in the 90's and I hope you never change the decor, because the look reminds me of going with my aunt when I was a kid, or going walking around the store while waiting to go to a movie at the ol' Regal 14 as a teenager. One time my friend, who was not employed by Boscovs, sold a couple a couch and was promptly asked to leave! Good times.
I used to think Boscovs was a store for "old ladies", and yeah, it kind of is!
but it's such a good experience compared to the national chains. Great variety. The chocolates. Employees are kind and helpful (if a little slow - the computers could use an upgrade) and seem to enjoy working there.
I bought some nice curtains recently from your store in the former Echelon Mall (it will always be that to me but officially it has some other name now) in Voorhees and needed more. I just typed in the UPC number on my receipt and found them here immediately, and for about the same price if I recall. So good work on the website.
