My aunt sold Avon my mom bought avon all through her life. I remember the Avon lady in Michigan coming to our house one of my first toys was from Avon a ball with shapes. My mom and me was decated Avon shopers. My mom since the 1960s to around 2010 until she pass away in 2011, im now 59 over the years bought many many many items I love still to this day. Bug spary was a must at foot ball games mothers would ask to use some i would buy extra alot. Plus there deodorant 24sport plus since around 1986 to now ive bought thousands of dollers in Avon. I dont buy alot now just deodorant shower gel and bug spary just not as much and i like the samples and the day Avon lady would come and show the newest things. Those days our gone not that warm fuzzy feeling like a nice apple pie, those days are gone and prices has triple since covid alone. One of the last national treasures I feel with great child hood memories, is loosing site of what once was. My aunt in Indiana would send us Avon Christmas presents every year loved it my dad would get that cologne in a old time car. And we get chap sticks, Buble bath, some avon toys or something. We grew up with Avon a part of our life, like rock music to turkey on Thanksgiving it was like you thought it was a apart of everyday life, those days gone Avon become more AI i feel, like more about keeping up with technology and competition with others. Forvover 50 years plus I have known Avon as a household Name for my family from my Grandmother to my mom my Aunts everyone had Avon stuff in there house there was a Avon lady on every conner. When we left Detroit and moved to Ky in 1989 we was worried about finding a Good Avon lady but we did Barbara Dewitt she was the best sold to all teachers ladys at court house always made her rounds she was one of your top sellers in Marion Ky and high up on your list of sellers nationwide. Shes passes away but she was the best dress like avon smelt like avon and very presentable and felt like family. Just having talks with Avon lady was like therapy at times. She was mine and my moms last Avon lady. I stop buying because of the way everything in world change now just a few items i still swear by and try to hold on too. But I feel avon fading fast to modern to high doller high class 5th Avenue styles. Not that middle class hard working wife mother or homemaker trying to look good feel good and do the best on a budget for her family or men too that buy Avon. Those hallmark moments are gone. People want to feel that again and not feel like there buying at high price 5th Avenue store. Just some feed back on someone who was rasie on Avon as my mother was too. Avon was apart of my childhood great memories that unfortunately I can't make with my grandchildren. You can't change the ingredients of a good homemade recipes thats been handed down for generations. The Cake as they say will flop, those old recipes was made with love and thought, and hard work in every cake baked. Sometimes changes ingredients can be artificial and bio engineer, as they say. Please some how get back to that hometown warm feeling and make your items and look less newyork styles more hometown call it come Home back to the basic. Make that housewife working mom hard working middle class dads feel like there money is not wasted, and more of children's stuff not high prices. I WANT MY OLD AVON DAYS maybe zoom your avon lady have avon parties by zoom or at homes . Have sample parties that would be great. Just some ideas but I would like to thank you for Avon memories with my whole family my neighbors all we grew up on Avon Thank you.
