ordered glittered waterproof eyeliner pencils. one of the pencils had no eyeliner in the pencil. called first time was told it would not be replaced, only return or refund. asked to speak to supervisor, she just left me hanging, not put on hold, or transferred. told me that supervisor would tell me same thing, when i insisted on speaking to supervisor, finally transferred to a man who was just as unhelpful. been buying Avon products for over 50 years, never had a problem with getting a replacement for a defective product. waited for about 30 minutes and called customer service again. this time i got and English speaking woman who was able to give me the information on filing a claim for the defective item online without mailing back a item that cost $4.50. would have spent twice that amount in gas running to post office and cost of postage. followed the second customer reps instruction, within same day got confirmation that item was being replaced and should receive within 7-10 days. wasted several hours on a issue that in past would have taken no effort at all. at least you have some reps who are doing a great job of keeping a loyal customer.
