I am an Avon Ambassador and recently placed an order through my own online link to test the customer experience. The website was easy enough to place the order, but it is confusing on the representative side to understand where commissions are reflected. As a representative, it is not always clear when an order placed through our link is credited to us or where the commission amount is shown.
Another issue is that shipping and tax seem to appear in ways that make it unclear whether the customer is paying them or if they are coming out of the representative’s order. This makes it difficult to explain pricing to customers, especially when working with seniors who prefer that I place the order for them.
It would really help if Avon made it easier for representatives to see exactly when a customer order is linked to us, how much commission we earned on that order, and a clearer breakdown of shipping and taxes during checkout. Transparency would help representatives feel more confident promoting and using the website.
