Overall, my experience with the Aveda website was smooth and enjoyable — I truly love the brand and the quality of the products speaks for itself. That said, there were a few moments during my visit that caused some frustration, which I feel are worth mentioning.
The positive: The site is visually beautiful, the product pages are informative, and I appreciate the clean, spa-like aesthetic that matches Aveda’s in-store feel. The loyalty program and promotions are easy to spot, and I love how the values of sustainability and wellness are clearly communicated throughout the experience.
The areas for improvement: At times, the website felt slightly laggy — especially when loading product images or applying filters. There was also an issue where my cart refreshed and removed an item I was ready to purchase, which was a bit disappointing since it took time to find again. The mobile experience in particular could be smoother; some buttons were hard to tap and a few pages didn’t format properly on my screen.
Overall: I still made a purchase because I trust Aveda, but I feel these technical issues detracted from what could’ve been a seamless, elevated shopping experience — especially considering the premium nature of the brand. I would love to see these resolved in the future.
