Overall, I found the Aveda website visually appealing and easy to navigate. The clean layout and calming color palette made browsing feel pleasant and on-brand. I appreciated that the top navigation clearly separated hair, skin, and body categories, and the quick‑link filters (by concern, ingredient, or collection) helped me drill down to exactly what I was looking for without wading through irrelevant products.
The product pages themselves were informative: high‑resolution images, detailed ingredient lists, and usage instructions gave me confidence in my choices. I also liked the “find at a salon” locator—it was helpful to see where I could experience products in person.
On the downside, the search function sometimes felt a bit finicky. A typo or slight variation in spelling often returned no results, even for popular product names. It would be great if search suggestions or autocorrect were more forgiving. Additionally, while the site is generally fast, I noticed a few pages (especially during peak traffic times) that took longer than expected to load. Finally, I’d love to see more customer reviews—right now there are only a handful per product, and I rely on peer feedback to guide my decisions.
