Unfortunately, I have a few complaints.
The website today was slow and difficult to manage. I tried to click on an item within a dropdown menu and it would vanish. It look me about 6 times of trying to get it to work. Also, the items I have purchased through the years are tea, candles and hair brushes. They are very difficult to find on the website.
Also, the loyalty program resets too often. I just went into a salon and purchased over $250 of product but couldn't apply it to membership. The employee said they would call the company to fix it and call me back but never did so. This has happened to me three times (two times in Oregon and once in California) so I have to assume it's a company-wide lack of support.
Note: I used to have over 100,000 points from the loyalty program that I never cashed in. They were erased a few years ago, which I understand. However, this more recent lack of customer service makes me want to never purchase from Aveda again. I grew up in Minnesota loving Aveda products and the standard of care and expertise that was offered. But after 30+ years of being an occasional customer, it's sad to see the company I once loved become so careless.
