I had a good experience shopping the site. I only planned on buying two items, however the store near me was sold out of the specific size of cleanser I was wanting to purchase, so I ended up swapping it out for the larger size. Then I noticed that if I spent $100, I would get a free gift. I added $100 of items to my cart and the gift wasn't showing up when I was trying to check out. I finally realized it was because it needed to be $100 in certain product categories, which is fine but it was not clearly communicated in the offer details. The offer I participated in was "25% off body care, skin care & tea. Gift mom her favorites. Plus, spend $100 and receive a bamboo pen and set of 8 seed-paper note cards, designed to grow into vibrant blooms when planted” The fine print states "Offer valid through 5/10/26 with $100+ spend on qualifying items” it wasn’t clear what the qualifying items were, but I eventually figured out they had to be body care, skin care & tea after trial and error. In my opinion, this should have been clearer because I ended up spending more time trying to figure out what I needed to buy than was necessary. Then lastly I decided to have the items shipped. I was disappointed that Aveda doesn’t have any shipping partners that offer access point delivery. I live in NYC and packages are constantly stolen, so I really don’t like to have things shipped to my apartment, but lacking an alternative, I had to have it shipped to my apartment. Overall I love Aveda, but the promotion should have been more clear and I wish you offered access point delivery (especially in NYC).
