If it weren’t for my salon’s stylist and skin specialist, I wouldn’t be buying the products
Site Experience FeedbackJul 4, 2026
I’m using a smart phone, which everybody does… It’s hard to search for the products, and the names of the products are very similar so it’s a lot of back-and-forth to read what works with what; what kind of product would be recommended for different types of skin; trying to enter a promo code was difficult; and the membership program doesn’t seem at all helpful given the amount of points one has to earn to get something free – not worth my $10. If there was a place on the website to find out what my skin needs, I would never have found it and would not know where to look. That’s a bummer for Aveda because I’m interested in the product and I have a great skin specialist as well as a stylist at the Aveda salon I go to. (I have to rely on them because the salon in Honolulu has a Front Desk staff that now after three visits, I have found to be totally ignorant, uninterested in my business, and definitely not that all interested in selling many products – probably because they don’t know much about the products… Hence the salon doesn’t get the sales, and I go to the Internet, which is where the Front Desk tells me to go anyway. I’m adding this information because I don’t know where else to submit it but my specialist are awesome and as a result, I will keep going to the Aveda salon in Honolulu. If they weren’t awesome, I will not go back… because I wouldn’t know anything about the products.
