I love the tinted moisturizer, use it every day, so I signed up for autoship and the discount that comes with that.
What leaves a bad taste in my mouth is the message on the billing page telling me points cannot be applied to autoship purchases. It seems Aveda provides less and less over time. Points expire, so if I buy a ton at once and don't need to replenish for, say, 13 months, my points have vanished. Now I can't use points for items I buy consistently. It's supposed to be a loyalty program, but it punishes loyalty.
I wish I could buy more from Aveda but they discontinued most of their makeup. I have to wonder if they ever investigated why their makeup might not have sold as much as they wanted. The makeup was excellent but the packaging was terrible, required you to purchase a compact case for your colors, yet the cases were the wrong size to fit the 3-stripe blush and 3-color eye shadows, leaving big gaps which looked ridiculous and caused colors to crumble. They should have fixed the cases rather than trashing the colors.
