This was my second time trying to use reward points for merch. The first time I accidentally hit Order but then I cancelled within 24 hrs, but my points were not returned, so I had to contact customer service several times before it was rectified. When I realized my rewards points were not returned after cancelling my order, I checked the customer service chat feature but couldn’t get through because it was after business hours. Unfortunately, I missed it a few days, but then I used the chat during business hours, but it told me it couldn’t help me and I should call a customer service number. I called the number and was on hold for over 20 minutes until I finally gave up and hung up. I looked up a Aveda rewards program customer service email address and sent them an email. They asked for a LOT of information that apparently they couldn’t get themselves in looking at my previous order, which I found strange, but I got them all the information they needed, and they returned my rewards points this morning, which finally resolved my issue. Once the rewards points were returned, I was successfully able to use the points earlier today and placed my order. Phew!
