Overall, the website is visually really appealing and aligns well with Aveda’s brand—clean, calming, and very product-focused. I like how easy it is to browse categories and how the product pages include detailed descriptions, ingredients, and benefits. The sustainability messaging is also clear and consistent, which adds to the experience.
That said, navigation can feel a little clunky at times. Some pages take longer to load than expected, and filtering products (especially by hair type or concern) could be more intuitive and refined. I also noticed that when switching between products, it sometimes feels like too many clicks are required to get back to where I started.
Another area for improvement would be the checkout process—it’s functional, but not as smooth or streamlined as it could be. Adding quicker checkout options or simplifying the steps might help reduce friction.
Overall, it’s a strong site visually and informationally, but improving speed, navigation flow, and ease of shopping would make the experience much better.
