I ordered an expression pedal from another musical supplier and that order got lost in shipping. Having no idea if I would receive that order, I ordered the same expression pedal from AMS, the only place I found that had one in stock. I placed the order with next day shipping, after business hours, meaning it was expected to ship the next day. Late that same night, I found that my original order that has been lost in shipping, had been corrected and was scheduled to be delivered the next day. No longer having a need for the pedal from AMS, I called early the morning after ordering, at around 7:30 Arizona time, to try to cancel the order. I was told by the person I spoke to, that the order had already shipped and that it was too late to cancel, but that I could return the order for a refund, minus the cost of shipping. When I received the tracking information for the order and tracked the package, I found out that the package wasn’t picked up by the shipper from AMS until a few hours after I had been told that it already shipped. I understand that the order had already been processed when I called, but it was not picked up by the shipping service until about three hours after I called, meaning there was time to cancel the order and return the product to AMS stock.
