On the positive side, you were one of the only musical instrument merchants that had the finish (avocado burst) I wanted my Reverend guitar in. But on a negative side it was the last one with that finish in your stock so I was concerned that if I didn’t like it or if it had scratches or damage, I would have to return it and buy it from somewhere else (if I could)because I knew that finish was discontinued from Reverend guitars so I would’ve had a harder time finding it, but I did get what I wanted.
Additionally if I ever buy gear online, it’s usually from Sweetwater but honestly, I do see they have deals quite often. I am looking to buy a $1500 plus guitar coming up, but if I can get a better deal from AMS, then I would certainly purchase from AMS, but I noticed with their sites they have customer service representatives. They assigned to their clients and that might make it easier for them to get more business. But I will say I will buy from you guys again if you give me a better price on things so I do like being able to search your online availability in stock in the same manner I will search theirs or guitar center, etc..
I will say that the more photos of instruments really helps me make purchases online. Some other sites don’t have enough pictures or their specific angles that would be better for purchasing decisions. I also wish most guitars over $1000 came with gig bags or something to protect it within the box granted my guitar was just fine when it arrived, but I think gig bags are good for protection on top of just a box it’s shipped in.
Overall as my first purchase, I was satisfied with AMS and will buy in the future from the site.
