I gotta tell you about my experience with American Musical Supply because honestly, it was really solid and I'd send anyone I know there without hesitation. Like, overall? Top-tier. But let me keep it real with you and give you the full picture.
The shopping experience was smooth, the selection was great, the pricing was competitive, and everything came through the way it was supposed to. No surprises, no damage, no drama, just got what I ordered and it was right. That alone puts them ahead of a lot of places these days.
Now here's the one thing I gotta mention, and I'm only bringing it up because it's worth knowing. The first customer service rep I got? He was trying to be a little too clever, if you know what I mean. A bit of a wise guy. Nothing ruined the experience, but it definitely was not the vibe you want when you're spending your money somewhere. It felt like he wasn't taking the interaction seriously, and that left a little bit of a sour taste at first.
But here's the thing, outside of that one guy, everything else was excellent. So I wouldn't let that one interaction be the reason you avoid them. The rest of the experience more than made up for it. Would I go back? Absolutely. Would I recommend them to a friend? 100% yes.
