The dishonest part was that it wasn't explained that coverage would only begin a long time after I signed up. So, I was on tenterhooks for those two weeks after my old plan expired.

Sign up for plan at 50%, got charged full price. Called, and had to really insist that I sign up with the 50% discount to get this resolved. Was not able to refund me for the 1st month's overcharge, which is kind of a rip-off.

The warranty is a scam. I filed a service request for our AC system not cooling and they are refusing to cover it by saying it was a pre existing condition. I have 2 kids at home with no AC in the heat and now have to figure out how to come out of pocket for this repair despite purchasing this home warranty and paying the service fee. I would never reccomend this company to anyone. If a home inspection is required for proof, then that should be completed prior to the warranty being started. I have owned my home for 5 years and have not had a reason to have a home inspection therefore i can not appeal their decision because i dont have physical proof. Customer service is absolutely horrible and i will be reporting to the Better Business Bureau.

Our dishwasher has recently started to not work quite right. We put in the work order and someone came out fairly quickly. However, after the parts were ordered, the next maintenance worker determined the dishwasher needed to be replaced. Overall service has been decent, but definitely taking much longer than I imagined to deal with the issue. We still have not received our final product.

I chose AHS because they offer an affordable policy that covers all of my main appliances,including my AC,which the manufacturer's 5 year warranty recently expired.AHS also takes care of removing any existing appliance,if a replacement is necessary.

Terrible have not resolved my issue has been a month and still waiting. Been a member for a long time and treated terribly. Cannot get resolution or service to repair my equipment. Overall AHS is good to have to fill the gap that's not covered by traditional homeowner's insurance. But the repair company is solely determined by AHS and customers have no control even if their service is bad. Nevertheless, AHS' customer service is good for handling customer complaints.
